The Coming Joe Biden 2021 HOUSING CRASH! | Real Estate Market Collapse

Joe Biden plans to eliminate one of the most important methods real estate investors use known as the 1031 Exchange. Typically this is how many big deals are done to defer taxes legally and continue growing their real estate portfolios. The 1031 Exchange market as of 2019 resulted in about $560 Billion dollars worth of movement and Joe Biden wants that removed. For real estate investors this is a major concern. There are many current fears in the economy such as a housing crisis, eviction crisis, foreclosure crisis and more. Millions of Americans are losing their jobs being unemployed not able to pay their rent or mortgages. To top it all off, Joe Biden is wanting to remove the 1031 Exchanges in his proposal. If you are in real estate, this should be a big concern.

That being stated, Joe Biden does propose some very positive things such as a $15,000 tax credit to first time home buyers, credit towards those who pay rent and utilities on time and making sure all food stamp qualified Americans actually receive their incentives. That’s great, but removing the 1031 Exchange is definitely not positive for the real estate world.
