Want to know how to retire early? Well, the advice I offer in this video is not what Dave Ramsey and others would tell you. You see, the conventional financial advice would have you save for decades in order to create streams of money later on. But if having streams of money is the goal, why not start sooner rather than later?
The median income in the U.S. is currently 5,000 dollars a month. So, that’s the financial number that we want to focus on. If you’re deciding between flipping a house for a profit of 30,000 dollars or holding a house for a profit of 300 dollars a month, which should you choose?
The 30,000 is going to be tempting every time. However, it’s important to keep in mind what you’re really after. In the long run, the flip is going to slow you down because it’s not going to build your income streams like the 300 dollars a month is going to do. If you’re serious about learning how to retire early, the key is to forget the conventional advice from Dave Ramsey and focus on the income streams.
The problem I see with many people is that their actions don’t reflect their desire to escape the rat race. Every time you’re engaged in a financial transaction, ask yourself this question: How can I turn this into a stream of cash?
By focusing on streams of cash, rather than the mountains of cash that Dave Ramsey would suggest you focus on, you can retire much earlier. Learning how to retire early depends on your ability to establish those streams in whatever enterprise you choose. That’s how you really escape the rat race.
