Melvin Johnson, from Maaj Capital, is back to talk about using business credit for real estate investing. Specifically, we’re talking about business lines of credit. We briefly recap Melvin’s last video on how he was able to go from $0 to $2,500,000 in the business line of credit in just 9 Months! Here’s how Melvin is using his Business Credit to invest in real estate.

1. Fix and Flip
Melvin is using the business credit to cover the rehab cost of the fix and flip. Melvin shares about the concept of reimbursement which he can use business credit first and then get “reimbursed” by other forms of long term leverage/loan. That way, you never had to use your own cash out of pocket.

2. Liquidity
Having a business credit/business line of credit gives you quick liquidity to be able to make moves on a deal that require urgent action.

You also have to make sure that your business is set up properly. Please talk to an attorney about filing your corporation or an LLC along with the right partnership agreements.

If you’re going more so with the “Organic Business Credit” route, you’ll also need your:
1. EIN (Employer Identification Number)
2. DUNS Number (Dun and Bradstreet Number)
