House Flip With Major Floor Plan Change Update Video Bought 8/29/2019

This was a house flip we bought from a wholesaler last year. It needed a lot of work but it ended up needing even more work after we found out the addition roof was not structurally sound. We ended up having to rebuild much of that roof which we were not expecting. We also made some major changes to the floor plan.

We closed off some rooms, moved the kitchen, added a master bedroom and master bath, and opened up the floorplan. We replaced the kitchen, baths, roof, much of the plumbing, some electrical, and will repaint everything and redo the flooring. It is a big project and hopefully, we still make a little money on it.

We also changed contractors on this one as well. We had one of our contractors who had worked with us for years doing this flip but he kept getting more expensive and taking longer on everything. We have meetings with our contractors all the time and tell them what we expect but over the years it is a common occurrence to find new contractors and let go old does who we have used for a while.

Colorado sill is in lockdown for the coronavirus but the state will be easing the shelter in place on April 27th and our county has said they are going to ease restrictions even more. We will see how that all goes!
