In this video, I want to show you how to make an offer on a house using creative financing. The negotiation strategies that I show you in this video can be used to get the property you want without having to accept an unfavorable deal.
The advantage of creative financing is that instead of just paying for a property with cash, you can pay with an idea. And there are many ideas from which to choose.
These ideas that you build a deal around are known as terms. This is an important part of learning how to make an offer on a house because your creative terms can free up cash flow for you by allowing you to avoid depending on cash to make your payment.
The key thing to think about when making a deal is that you should control one of two things: either the price or the terms of the deal. By using the right negotiation strategies, you can find a way to get the property you want even if you don’t have the cash.
For example, let’s say that a seller wants 100,000 dollars for their house. If you offer them a small down payment of 10,000 dollars and 400 subsequent monthly payments for a total of 200,000 dollars, that would allow the seller to get twice their asking price while giving you the ability to conserve your cash flow.
Creative negotiation strategies can open up possibilities when investing in real estate, by allowing you to control either the price or the terms. Learning how to make an offer on a house through creative terms will give you more flexibility when purchasing properties.
